LAKE CITY–HUB TV broadcast journalist Jeanenne remembers the day she got the call inviting her to join Shawn as co-anchor for the network’s special election coverage of the President of You’re the Boss.
“I was so nervous,” Jeanenne recalls. “It was a little intimidating to think that I would be sitting opposite such an accomplished news reader like Shawn.”

But from the minute she sat down in the anchor chair, it was clear she was equal to the task. “I think we’ve all come to recognize that Jeanenne possesses the poise and grace to hold up her side of the co-anchor spot,” remarked HUB TV executive producer Stuart. “There’s not too many potential newscasters I can think of who have the gravitas to balance the equation with a pro like Shawn.”
For Shawn’s part, he is only too happy to share the spotlight with his capable sidekick. “I like working with people who are prepared and competent,” he said, “as long as they don’t upstage me. Jeanenne has been a pleasure to work with.”
