Rules

  • Candidates are competing for the right to have their likeness displayed on HUB Industrial Supply’s rubber-stamp-style “You’re the Boss” logo.
  • Voters who participate will be entered in a series of drawinsg to receive one of twenty valuable prizes.
The Election
The nine candidates will compete for votes from now until 8:00 p.m. (EST) on June 28, 2012. Votes can be cast at any time from now until then. The relatively long duration of this election will be subdivided into four segments: the first three segments, called primary or caucus seasons, will stand both as distinct segments of time in which votes within those segments will be eligible for prizes in separate drawings and as contiguous parts of the general election.

Announcement of Winners
The conclusion of each primary or caucus will be followed by a prize drawing and an announcement the following Monday of the winners. At the conclusion of the 3 “primaries”, the votes from all three primaries will be combined and added to by the forth segment of the contest, the “General Election,” which will conclude on June 28. The new president of You’re the Boss! will be announced via an acceptance speech broadcast on the July 2 Monday Morning Minute video blast. At that time, our new president will announce the winners of the general election contest prizes. This information will be simultaneously posted on this website (www.vote4hub.com). These prizes will be awarded based on a drawing of all the eligible voters who cast ballots at any time during the promotion. See below for eligibility requirements.

Eligibility to Win Prizes:
Anyone can vote for their favorite candidate (subject to eligibility rules above right); however, eligibility to win prizes is restricted to the following voters:

  • Must be associated with the manufacturing industry.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • All HUB employees and their immediate family members are prohibited from receiving prizes.
  • Eligible voters must supply their name and email or mailing address at time of voting.
  • Voters who win prizes in primary drawings will be ineligible to win in subsequent primary drawings, but will still qualify for the grand prize drawing at the end of the election.

Voting Eligibility:

  • Anyone can vote.
  • You may cast one vote per day, with the following exceptions:
  1. When placing an order with HUB, you are permitted an additional vote for your candidate at time of purchase (limit two “purchased” votes per day per facility).
  2. Hub employees and their family members (excluding candidate’s mothers) are restricted to one vote per family member.
  3. Since HUB Industrial stands for family values like mom and apple pie, the candidate’s mother is permitted to vote a total of ten times. Votes must be cast no more than once per day. In fairness to candidates who have no mother, they may designate another family member this privilege.
  • Automatic voting by means of macros, bots, the purchase of online vote-boosting services, or other cunning devices is strictly prohibited.
