Same Day Shipping Candidate Decries Media Bias

LAKE CITY–Jonny accused the media of portraying him in a negative light today following the release of his stump speech on the Election Central Meet the Candidates program that aired as HUB Industrial Supply’s Monday Morn

The offending headline asks, "Does Jonny Deserve Front-Runner Status?"

The candidate from the Same Day Shipping party, who has consistently led in the polls since the beginning of the Super Thursday primary period, objected to the headline that accompanied the video. The headline posed the question, “Does Jonny Deserve Front Runner Status?”

“I think the insinuation is, ‘he hasn’t earned his commanding lead,'” said Jonny. “Well, I’ve got news for them: I have earned every single vote I have received.”

Jonny attributed the secret of his success to the loyalty of his constituents. “These guys are voting for me every day–I’ve got a few that even voted for me over the weekend!”

Some of Jonny’s customers are so loyal that they have even contrived ways to vote more than once a day before the supervisor of elections put a stop to the deception. Despite the zeal of his voters, Jonny was cleared of any wrongdoing.
